Unlike many other RTS games, you don't directly tell your units what to do. Instead, you tempt them by attaching rewards to four different flag types. There is an option to set a default bounty for each placed flag; otherwise, you will have to manually increase the bounty in 100 or 500 gold increments


Defence Flag: This creates a quest to protect a building or unit. Heroes protecting this flag will be given a portion of the bounty over time. Warrirors are easily drawn to these quests.

Attack Flag: This creates a quest to destroy/kill a building/unit. Heroes receive the bounty upon the death of the unit or destruction of the building. Warriors are easily drawn to these quests

Explore Flag: This creates a quest to explore a region. Heroes receive the bounty upon reaching the flag.

Fear Flag: This flag scares heroes away from a region through a mechanism unknown to myself. I never use these flags, but it could be potentially beneficial to use to keep heroes from wandering into quest areas prematurely, or to prevent heroes from heading off alone into dangerous areas.
